I TOOK A BREAK... and that's ok!

Hello, Hello you beautiful people!!! publishing my first blog post here on MCP for the first time since 11.28.16, so crazy I know. If any of you have been wondering where or what I have been doing don’t worry, I am going to fill y’all in.

I GOT STRESSED OUT.. like really, I felt like I was getting so behind on the whole liking and commenting and making sure I was interacting with everyone so that they would do the same.. and it made me not want to post, not even on my Instagram. I’ve come to the realization (and I hope you can take it.. jk im not Drake) that it DOES NOT MATTER. I really needed to quit worrying about the little things and Blog here on MCP for me and just have fun with it. So that is what I am going to start doing

SCHOOL, I focused my time more on school last semester and this summer and let me tell ya, it paid off girly, I got my first 4.0… and in the end school should come first. I have hopefully gotten my organizational skills down to where I can devote time to my blog with still keeping up my school work and doing my best.

B R A D. it’s all his fault! HA HA kidding, BUT brad graduated this past May from Tech (YAY so excited for him) and I really just wanted to take in his last semester and just live in the moment (lol is that lame)? But really... that’s about it and where I have been and I hope y’all can understand and continue to follow my blogging.

Also this summer I have spent my time taking summer classes and some time here in San Antonio with Bradley, so here is some pictures and a video from our time at the San Antonio Botanical Garden.

I hope you all understand and hope that each of y’all can continue to follow my journey here on MCP.

Corduroy Overalls Dress

His: similar Shirt // Pants // Shoes

Happy Monday and first day back from the break, but I must say I am still very full from all the wonderful thanksgiving food (YUM) I had. I hope everyone enjoyed their time off and got some Black Friday/cyber Monday holiday shopping out of the way. There were some great deals out there that started super early, but some are still going on until the end of tonight, I will list them at the end of this post. Just a little PSA: I know I haven’t posted much lately, but school comes first and I will be posting more frequently now.

During the break I had time to shoot my thanksgiving look with my very corporative boyfriend, Brad. This blush corduroy overalls dress, I thought was the perfect thanksgiving and fall look for the “not so fall” weather we’ve been having. Also making their first appearance on the blog, are the cutest faux snake skin booties that will be here to stay, for a long while. This simple overalls look being one of my favorite colors, blush, was so easily to style and if you’re not one for the darker colors that come with fall, this color works perfectly to transition. This look is simple, easy, and something that could be recreated with another top underneath, such as a white colored turtleneck, or even switch up the shoes and all knee high socks, or boots. I hope this outfit sparks some inspo for your future holiday/fall looks.

Another PSA: before I wrap up this post, I was able to see Adele, while she was here in Texas at the beginning of this month. Needless to say that woman is nothing less than perfection. Her voice was even more amazing in person (hard to believe, I know), she was just absolutely hilarious, and such a joy to watch. If you ever get the chance to see her in concert, I highly recommend it. Since this is just a little chitchat post bring y’all up-to-date on what I’ve been doing, in other exciting news, I will be going to New York for my birthday in December, and I cannot wait to blog my way through NYC.
